Forget an Apple a day!

Nourishing health drink using herbs, cacao, nuts, seeds and coconut oil πŸ™‚
I have been drinking these daily for years now. I thought id share my recipe. They are nourishing, filling and healing. You can replace cacao for carob if you avoid stimulants.
You could also make with any nut milks/milk of your choice. I love hemp and hazelnut milk.
Here is a few good reasons why ginger, cinnamon, chilli, turmeric, cardamom are great for you!

Use my basic recipe for
almond milk I make this using warm water to create a warm choc drink. In the warmer weather I use tepid water. You could use cold or iced if that’s your thing.
Add 1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 desert spoon chia seeds
2 desert spoon shelled hemp seeds
2 desert spoon cacao powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1tsp cayenne pepper (less if too hot for you)
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cardamom
1 tsp black pepper
Sweeten with a little Raw Honey (local if possible)
Whizz up and pour
Serves 2

Chocolate Almond Milk

Use my basic recipe for
almond milk I make this using warm water to create a warm choc drink.
Add 1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 desert spoon chia seeds
2 desert spoon shelled hemp seeds
2 desert spoon cacao powder
Whizz up and pour
Serves 2

Chewy Almond Vanilla cookies

Almond Vanilla biscuits using left over almond pulp from my Almond milk recipe
Ingredients:
Almond pulp, one portion
1 desert spoon coconut oil
1 desert spoon chia seeds (ground)
1 desert spoon vanilla extract
Pinch Celtic sea salt
1 desert spoon of maple syrup (more if you like sweet)
How to:
Add all ingredients into a bowl
Stir well
Roll into 8 balls
Flatten balls into cookie shapes
Sprinkle coconut sugar on top of each cookie
Bake at 200 Celsius
For 30 minutes
Allow to cool (if you can wait πŸ™‚

Satay Stir fry! Vegan friendly!

Quick vegan nutritious stir fry!
1/2 pack stir fry mix
1/2 pack spinach, rocket or kale
1tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon palm oil free peanut butter
1 tablespoon tamari sauce
1/2 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon hemp and chia seed
1 tablespoon sesame seed oil
Salt to taste
Warm oil through
Chuck veg in
Add other stuff
Take off heat and stir through
Top with pine nuts if you fancy Nancy πŸ™‚
